Short Term(Respite)Stays
If you are caring for a loved one and need temporary assistance, consider a short-term stay at THE CARLTON.
Short-term stays can be for many reasons. There may be situations and times when the caregiver needs to take a few days to several months away from the caregiving role. Short term stays are also referred to as "Respite" care and simply means 'respite' or time off.
Another example of a short-term stay is when a person needs extra assistance during an illness or after a hospital visit to complete rehabilitation. This may occur after a surgery or an injury. A 'care plan' describes what types of therapy will be offered along with the goal of the therapy. This may include; Occupational therapy, Speech therapy and Physical therapy.
Many of our permanent residents also begin their lives with us by evaluating THE CARLTON through Short-term Stays.
